Juan's Obsession #1: Rubber Moccasin

Gucci Blue Rubber  Moccasin returns this season
Last year Gucci launches their rubber moccasin which might have be the "most affordable shoes" they ever have, I was hoping to get one for myself but they got sold out before I got the chance to see these shoes in person. Initially these comes in 3 shades of colors Black, Green and Blue and its embellished with Gucci iconic horsebit. Basically it was made of all rubber virtually waterproof and indestructible.

YSL Cherry Red Rubber Loafer available at MATCHESFASHION

YSL Cobalt Blue Rubber Loafer available at SSENSE

Vivienne Westwood Rubber Loafer available at LUISAVIAROMA
This year, rubber loafers returns to Gucci and from different fashion houses like Yves Saint Laurent and Vivienne Westwood. And like from Gucci this shoes are selling very well. As we speak YSL and Vivienne Westwood rubber loafers are almost sold out in Hong Kong and most online shop. I can't blame those people who just dive in to buy these musing loafers that can be rather helpful or practical for rainy season.

And now I need to make some decision which rubber loafer to get. So my question dear readers *if there's any hahaha*: Which loafer would you pick?

Shopaholic Juan #2: LONGCHAMP Le Pliage Haul

Le Pliage Tote
Le Pliage Hobo
Ahh... LONGCHAMP. Whenever I hear this word one thing always pop out in my mind and that is the Le Pliage. That iconic leather handle foldable nylon bag. There's no day gone by that I wouldn't see this bag all over the street of Hong Kong carried by students to sophisticated women. Some say its boring but to me its the most practical and most stylish bag a women can have. Aside from that you can style this bag practically everything in your wardrobe. A true staple bag, don't you agree?

My mother and her Le Pliage tote.
My very own Longchamp Le Pliage <3 <3 <3
Me with my Longchamp Le Pliage Hobo bag.
Few weeks ago and days before my birthday I decided to get my Mother her very first Longchamp Le Plieage Tote bag. This bag comes in array of style, colors and materials. I decided get her the Le Pliage Shopping Tote *the one with long leather handle*. And since I was there I tried on the few style till I came across with the Longchamp Le Pliage Hobo bag. It was exactly what I am looking for a bag. Zippered closure and sling style bag it was perfect, I got to have it and that was exactly what I did :-)

Happy Sunday everyone.

Shopaholic Juan #1: ZARA Moccasin with Skulls

The last time I bought or even just wore a black shoes is when I was in college. I don't know why but somehow I stay away from anything remind me of school uniforms. Last week, as I was evaluating my shoes, I told myself "Jade, you need to have a black shoes on your wardrobe." and so I did.

Please friends welcome my new baby ZARA Moccasin. I just fell in love with its skull embellishment that made me wanna-gotta have it :-) The shoes is made of real suede leather with leather lining and I found it very comfortable to wear. The inside sole of the shoes feels like I was walking on fluffy clouds, I can certainly walk many miles with this shoes. It is my shoes to go to whenever I want a smart casual look with little bit of Rock N'Roll vibe :-P

Gender Bender #1: ZARA's Printed blouse with Scarf

D&G Mens Spring Summer 2012

Ever since I saw D&G Mens Spring Summer 2012 Collection I was drooling and obsessing with the foulard print shirts. Being a PRINT LOVER that I am... I just can't resist not to love D&G's last collection. I have ought to myself that I would find a way to buy even just one piece from this collection. The price of these shirts are not for an average "Juan" like me. So I have schemed a plan that I would wait for the next SEASONAL SALE of LUISAVIAROMA before buying anything and by this it would give me enough time to raise enough MOOLA. But unfortunately the t-shirt on my wish list got sold out even before I start a fund. booohooo

I am hoping to snag the t-shirt but unfortunately its already sold-out :-(

Feeling defeated, I browsed to ZARA's online catalog just to past time and guess what I saw?

ZARA WOMAN: (L) Medallion Blouse (R) Print Blouse with Scarf

I don't dare try to fit a Women clothing let alone buy 'em but for these shirts I have to make an exception. Last Sunday March 11, 2012 I went to IFC Mall Hong Kong and head straight to ZARA shop. I didn't waste anytime to try the  Print Blouse with Scarf. I've asked the SA if they have an XL size of the Medallion Blouse but unfortunately that size was already sold out. After two hours of deliberation I came to a conclusion that the shirt fits me well and it doesn't look awkward at all. I marched across the check out counter and buy it! And behold...

What you could say eh? Not bad at all right?
On me: ZARA Print Blouse with Scarf, RAY-BAN WAYFARER, F&H Hat

Though I cannot wear this shirt with this kind of weather here in Hong Kong 12 degrees Celsius YIKES But still this shirt keep me excited and look forward for a "Fashionable" summer.

Juan Likes #01: Camouflage Obsession Continues

If there's a print that I really obsessing with, that will be camouflage. I don't know when this obsession started all I know is I managed to haul a cargo pants, t-shirt, scarf and a tote bag all in camouflage. After seeing my collection of camouflage print I decided to hunt for more.
ZARA Straw Hat
I guess you've seen this fedora hat from ZARA. I have tried on this before and don't fall in love with it instantly. Last Friday (December 23) I tried it again while wearing my camouflage t-shirt and I liked it a lot. It has that pale color of brown and green that compliment the dark color of my shirt. I am still on the offense of buying it for its price tag of Php 995.00. But let me tell you, I am seriously thinking of buying it next time I saw it.
Comme des Garcon Shirt Camouflage Moccassins
I have been eyeing these shoes for several weeks already from Comme des Garcon Shirt at YOOX. It looks very comfy don't you think? I am a big fan of slip-on shoes its very easy to wear and no lace to bother to knot. Being said it was a Comme des Garcon Shirt so be ready to pay a hefty price if I am not mistaken these babies cost around USD 250.00. But if YOOX would have it in my size (US 10) and put a 50% or at least 30% discount I will definitely invest my money with these shoes. (sorry kuripot* haggler* LOL)

Shopping Haul #3: Rebecca Minkoff Camo Toki Tote

Oh... Yes! I did it again! I shopped again! If you are following me at twitter you'd probably get heads up to my latest shopping escapade. :-)

Over a week ago I was reading the blog of one of my favorite blogger The Bag Hag Diaries  (a.k.a. Ms. Ingrid) post "Black Friday Deals!" where she announced the SALE EVENT of Shopbop. Being the shopaholic that I am, a"SALE shopaholic" to be precised I immediately grab the opportunity to get that Rebecca Minkoff tote that I'm lusting to buy with Shopbop.
Rebecca Minkoff Camo/Black Toki Tote

I have been stalking this Rebecca Minkoff Camo/Black Toki Tote at Shopbop for the past three months already. Yes that long! LOL And last Thursday December 1, 2011 it finally arrived at my door step via DHL without me worrying about the CUSTOM and TAXES or any charges.
Imagine how excited I am after DHL guy left. Hahaha

And yesterday (Friday) I decided to use it as WHOLE "day bag" for my super busy day that started at 5:00 am that ended at 7:30pm. The black leather handle and base are so super soft to touch and dark camouflage print is very low maintenance. Over-all the bag handle my whole day exceedingly well.
I embellished it with Foxtail + Copper Robot "Barnaby" keyring
Unfortunately this camo/black tote is already sold out. But you can always take a look with their other items. For example here another Rebecca Minkoff Toki Tote at Black/Pink Croc exclusively at Shopbop with custom and taxes pre-calculated into the price when you check out, so no more surprise calls from Customs officials :-)

Happy weekends everyone! Thanks for visiting by my blog <3 Oh don't forget to LIKE and SHARE my post :-)

Shopping Haul #1: ASOS Leather Woven Sandals

Last night I was doing my usual web browsing at ASOS. I must say ASOS is my most favorite ONLINE SHOPPING site. Anyone can achieve an ultra chic stylish look with ASOS without putting themselves *or myself*  in state of bankruptcy *LOL* Anyways back to the story. While looking around their Mens "Shoes and Trainers" SALE section I stumble on this cool "Tan Woven Leather Sandals".
ASOS Leather Woven Sandals
This is the one that got away from me last summer. I planned on buying em last summer but I waited too long & ending up with nothing. So this time that I have given a 2nd chance I just add in my cart & immediately check it out :)

ASOS offers a FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE with no amount limit. You can buy as little as $1 & still get a free shipping *LOOVE!!!* But please keep in mind all Custom Duties & Taxes will be shoulder by the buyer ;) So I advice keep your shopping limit below $50 (for Philippine shipping at least) to avoid heavy fees.

Roman in Style

I can't remember when is the last time I saw a "Via Crucis" or "Station of the Cross" in our neighborhood. For those who don't know  what "Via Crucis" is, its a Lenten activity of Catholic devotees that reenact the crusification of Jesus Christ.

Here a video of Via Crucis in Island of Marinduque, Philippines.
Though I can't remember when is my last Via Crucis, I will never forget how beautiful and colorful the costumes they are using. I especially love those Roman Sandal.
ZARA MAN: Roman Sandal
Roman sandal is quite a classic style, don't you think? It's been in style for over hundreds of years already to think even Julius Caesar may have been spotted wearing them. I love to think that these sandal is like Prada brogues for Julius Caesar or  Christian Louboutin stiletto for Cleopatra. *LOL*
ZARA MAN: Roman Sandal with buckles
ZARA MAN got few style of Roman sandal on their store now that retail for around Php3799.00. Though I know the price of these sandals is not for all of us you can always find this kind style almost everywhere *local market, flea markets and alike*. You don't have to break your bank just to look stylish.

And if you're looking for something more special and more luxurious sandal you can always check out MR PORTER.

Coloured Jeans

Aren't you getting tired of wearing those same "blue jeans" of yours? Are you ready for coloured jeans? If you answered yes to these questions we should come together do little shopping. And we paint the town in red, mustard or orange with ZARA MAN: COLOURED JEANS :D

Even before the summer begun I have been hunting for these rare bright color jeans. I just want to exude that festive summer vibe!
ZARA MAN COLOURED JEANS
Personally, I love these bright coloured jeans. I would wear this jeans with simple white V-neck t-shirt and comfy sneakers with hint of silver tone accessories. I don't want to over accessorize myself with this jeans or else it will look over dressed.
ZARA MAN COLOURED JEANS: Orange, Mustard, Red, Deep Blue
And if those bright coloured jeans is a bit to much for you perhaps this neutral color jeans is up to your alley. I have to be honest these pants looks boring for me. But still these jeans are perfect if you'd like to have a "Smart Casual" look and you can always pair it with almost everything in closet.
ZARA MAN COLOURED JEANS: Stone, Black, White, Silver
So what you think guys? Yay or Nay? Love to read your comments and suggestion below.

Thanks for visiting my blog page :D and hope I have made some sense *LOL*. Anyways don't forget to SHARE and LIKE. Have a great day tweeps! Tweet me at twitter ^_^

Something in Common with "The Bag Hag"

It's not a secret to anyone who know me that I am super obsessed *not CRAZY OBSESSED LOL* with Ms. Ingrid a.k.a. "The Bag Hag". I follow her at twitter, watch her video blog at youtube and read her blog religiously *for two years and counting*. A day won't be complete without me talking or tweeting about her. I just love and idolized her so much.

Almost a month ago, I went to Hong Kong to visit my parents and also to "secure a potential career" for myself. I stayed there for two weeks. And in my last night of my stay is the flight of Ms. Ingrid for her Tod's event.

So here are my "SOMETHING IN COMMON" from The Bag Hag's Hong Kong Trip :D

Sunglasses for cluts... like me. LOL

The weather today is so unpredictable. One minute the sun is beaming over your head and next minute its raining. This is why I never leave the house without my tri-fold umbrella and sunglasses. Its better to be safe than sorry.
Ray-Ban OUTDOORSMAN II' ARISTA GOLD SUNGLASSES WITH CRYSTAL GREEN LENSES
Speaking of sunglasses here is my very first Ray-Ban the OUTDOORSMAN II' ARISTA GOLD SUNGLASSES WITH CRYSTAL GREEN LENSES. I saw this sunglasses from the guy on my voting precinct last Philippines Presidential Election. I was so amazed and intrigued on its unique "ear hook" that I even asked the man what brand it is and where did he bought it.

Ray-Ban Arista Gold OUTDOORSMAN II

I had this Ray-Ban for almost a year already and still look great. The "ear hook" is perfect for me for I am such a cluts. Because it serve as extra hold on your ear for maximum movement, without worrying that it might fall on the ground. And its gold metal framing gives that extra boost on anyone's look. Like the Ray Ban Sunglasses Aviator its lens also scratch resistant and made of lightweight metal framing.

For more style of Ray-Ban sunglasses try visit their website here.
