Roman in Style

I can't remember when is the last time I saw a "Via Crucis" or "Station of the Cross" in our neighborhood. For those who don't know  what "Via Crucis" is, its a Lenten activity of Catholic devotees that reenact the crusification of Jesus Christ.

Though I can't remember when is my last Via Crucis, I will never forget how beautiful and colorful the costumes they are using. I especially love those Roman Sandal.

Roman sandal is quite a classic style, don't you think? It's been in style for over hundreds of years already to think even Julius Caesar may have been spotted wearing them.
